WARNING
The product is not delivered ready to use. The product may be
contaminated after use on the patient.
Risk of infection!
• Prepare the product by validated procedures before using for
the first time and after every use.
• Observe the national and institution-specific hygiene and
preparation regulations.
WARNING
Signs of wear such as cracks, deformations, discolorations or
peelings, for example, may occur on the prepared product.
Risk of infection!
• Observe the manufacturer specifications of the cleaning agent,
disinfectant and preparation devices.
• Check for signs of wear after every product preparation and
replace if necessary.
• Dispose of the flow sensor after using on the patient at the
latest after 1 year or 52 preparation cycles.

• All modifications to the flow sensor are prohibited.
NOTICE
• See instructions for use of the ventilator.
• The responsible organization is liable for ensuring the
compatibility of the ventilator with all other parts that are used
for connecting to the patients before use.
• The flow sensor must be calibrated prior to patient use.
• Every incident with the ventilator which leads to severe injury or
death of the patient or to a potential public health hazard must
be reported to the manufacturer and to the authorities
responsible.
