Intended use
The LM Flowsensor Neo reusable is a sensor for flow
measurement. It is used in combination with a ventilator for
ventilating of preterms and neonates as well as infants and
children.
Restriction of the place of application
The flow sensor may not be used in areas with a strong magnetic
field.
Permissible operating personnel
The product is operated by a doctor or by an individual trained
and qualified specifically for this activity on the doctor's
instructions, whereby every user must be trained on the product
and familiar with the instructions for use and operation of the
product.
Important for nebulization
The flow sensor must be removed prior to nebulization.

Scope of delivery
The flow sensor is delivered individually packed and must be
prepared before using for the first time and after every use.
Preparation (max. 52 cycles)
• Remove the flow sensor from the patient circuit and pull out the
connecting lead if necessary.
• Rinse off the flow sensor immediately after use.
• Remove heavy contaminations from the sensor surface with a
soft, moist cloth or a disposable wipe.
NOTICE
Observe the following restrictions for preparation of the flow
sensor to avoid destroying the sensor wires:
• Never clean with compressed air or a hard water jet.
• Never clean in the ultrasonic bath.
