Since the range of the wireless camera strongly depends on the local circumstances
we recommend a test run to be made before final installation.
Connecting the Wireless Camera
Select the desired transmission channel A, B, C or D at the camera.
The lowest position of the switch corresponds to channel A, the highest position of
the switch corresponds to channel D.
The wireless camera is connected to adapter XM11. After this you plug the adapter
into a safety socket. Now the camera is ready for operation.
Connecting the Receiver
Select the desired transmission channel A, B, C or D at the receiver.
The channel select switch at the bottom of the receiver is marked accordingly. For
the transmission of images it is necessary for the transmitter and receiver to be oper-
ated on the same channel.
Connect the output VIDEO OUT (16) (yellow socket) to the video cinch input of the
surveillance monitor or the TV set. Should your device have a scart input (21-strand
socket) use the yellow video cinch socket of the cinch scart adapter enclosed.
Connect the AUDIO OUT socket (17) (white socket) to the cinch audio input of the
surveillance monitor, the TV set or the white socket of the cinch scart adapter.
The low-voltage connector of adapter HKA1250EC can now be connected to the
power supply socket (18) at the receiver, and the adapter plugged into a safety sock-

Turn on the receiver using the on/off switch (15).
Turn on the surveillance monitor or the TV set resp. now and select the AV input as
video source. If connecting and adjustment are correct you can now see the picture
of the wireless camera and determine the ideal site of installation.
The antennas of the surveillance set (1) and (11) are mounted on a joint.
Turn the antennas of the receiver and the wireless camera in a way that the marked
sides look at each other. The antennas shall point away from the device housing.
Change the position of the antennas until you have reached ideal reception. The
antennas should be aligned to form a right angle approximately.
If the distance between the wireless camera and the receiver is less than 3 m the
short distance can cause an overload of the receiver unit and lead to poor reception.
In this case do not align the antennas pointing directly at one another.

10. Bloc d'alimentation secteur HKA 1250EC
Ce bloc d'alimentation secteur sert exclusivement à l'alimentation de l'unité de
réception.
11. Antenne de réception
L'antenne reçoit le signal radio diffusé par l'émetteur. Pour obtenir une réception
optimale, il faut diriger le côté marqué de carrés de l'antenne en direction de
l'émetteur.
12. Grille d'aération
L'air chaud résultant du fonctionnement s'échappe par ces fentes. Pour cette
raison, et même quand la bonne réception ne l'exige pas, l'antenne de réception
doit être redressée afin que la convection ne soit pas entravée.
13. Couvercle du LED de contrôle de fonctionnement
Une diode LED rouge de contrôle se trouve sous ce couvercle. Elle s'allume
quand l'appareil est allumé.
14. Touche de sélection de canal
Avec cette touche on détermine le canal du récepteur. En cas d'emploi de plu-
sieurs caméras émetteurs, elle permet également d'alterner entre les différents
canaux.
15. Interrupteur
En appuyant sur cet interrupteur, vous allumez ou éteignez le récepteur. Le
récepteur est allumé quand l'interrupteur est sur la position "ON". Il est éteint,
quand l'interrupteur est sur la position "OFF ». Le bloc d'alimentation consomme
un peu de courant, même quand l'appareil est éteint. Une déconnexion totale du
réseau d'alimentation n'est possible que par le débranchement du bloc d'ali-
mentation secteur.
16. Douille de sortie vidéo
C'est vers cette douille Cinch que le signal vidéo du récepteur est dirigé. Elle
peut être connectée à l'entrée vidéo d'un moniteur ou d'un poste de télévision.
