5. Installation
Note - Input
Holddown the A button (3)or the V button (2)to select

• Press the MODEbutton (4) repeatedly to switch betweenthe

5.1 Automatic date/time setting using the DCFsignal
• Onceyou haveinsertedthe batteries,the displayisswitched
on, an acousticsignalsoundsandthe alarmclock automatically
starts searchin

Note - Time settings
• If,during initialsetup of thedevice, noDCF radio signal i s
receivedwithin the first few minutes,the searchisaborted
Theradio icon(6) will go out.
• Iftherearereception p roblems, werecommend leaving
the clock to sit overnight,sinceinterferenceis generally
lessat night
In the meantime, y ou can start a manualsearchfor the DCF
radio signalat another locationor you can manuallysetthe
time and date

countries with another time zone
f you are in Moscow.the time is 3 hourslater than in
GermanyThis meansthat youshouldset+3 for thetime
zone Theclock then automaticallysetsthe time to 3 hours
afterthe DCF signalreceivedor relativeto the manually
set time
