This tester is universally applicable, e.g. it can be used for hobby
purposes as well as for industrial applications or educational pur-
poses (only digital multimeter).
A Lo-Batt-Indicator in the display (BAT) indicates that the battery
will need to be changed soon.
The tester works with an alkaline 9V block battery, e.g. type 6LR61
or MN1604 or 6F22 or 006P.
Handling, Commissioning
a) Installing the battery – battery replacement
Do not leave batteries lying around unattended as
they might be swallowed by children or pets. In case
of batteries being swallowed, seek immediate med-
ical care!
To ensure flawless operation of your Multitester, use a 9V block bat-
tery (type 6LR61 or MN1604 or 6F22 or 006P). If the low-battery
indicator blinks in the left lower part of the display, you must change
the battery. This is done as follows:
- Separate your tester from the test circuit and switch it off (range
selector (7) in "OFF" position).
- Remove the protective rubber frame; push it back starting from
the display side.
- Open the back cabinet by loosening the screw on the back (use a
screwdriver for recessed-head screws) and carefully remove the
screw.
- Disconnect the dead battery from the connecting clip and take
the battery out of the plastic cover.
- Replace the old battery by a new one of the same type. Observe
correct polarity (+ and -).
