Safety instructions

Any claims for guarantee will become invalid in the
event of damage that results from the non-obser-
vance of the operating manual. We do not accept
responsibility for such damage. Nor do we accept
responsibility for damage to property or for personal
injuries caused by improper use or non-observance
of safety instructions. Guarantees will not be
accepted in any such cases.
• Never exceed the maximum input ratings.
• A reliable display is ensured only within a temperature range of
from –10 °C to +50 °C and within a frequency range of from 50
cps to 500 cps.
• Never use the tester if it is damaged.
• Inspect the instrument for functionality prior to any use.
• Observe the safety regulations laid down by the professional
trade association for electrical equipment and installations in
industrial and commercial facilities.
• Static electricity which, for example, is produced by strongly rub-
bing the plastic casing, may corrupt the data displayed.
• Keep this tester out of the reach of children.
• Be particularly careful in using voltages exceeding 25 V A.C. or 35
V A.C. If there are such voltages you might sustain an electric
shock which already is risky to your life in case of a physical con-
tact.
Passages in the manual which are emphasized by
the marginal warning symbol are important instruc-
tions for use the non-observance of which poses a
danger to life.
