Treatment should never be painful and to avoid burns you should always ensure
there is sufficient distance between the skin being treated and the heating head.
»
Please dispose of the packing material in an environmentally friendly manner.

Contra-Indications

With regard to the following contra-indications the heating lamp should not be
used or only after consulting your doctor:

Patients with implanted electronic devices such as heart pacemakers should not
treat the respective body area (for example, the chest area) with the heating
lamp.
»
Do not treat those parts of the body which are numb or which are subject to
sensitivity disorders, for example after the use of cold compressors.
»
Pregnant women should not treat the stomach area.
»
Women during the period two months after conception.
»
Silicone and silicone implants close to the surface on ears, nose or breast can
absorb infra-red radiation and become hot. In such cases the doctor should be
consulted.
»
Patients who suffer from haemophilia or other blood clotting conditions should
avoid exposure to infra-red radiation because during treatment there is an
increased risk of bleeding caused by vasodilatation of the blood vessels.
»
Do not use when feverish or when the body temperature is heightened.
»
In case of doubt always consult your doctor.
»
Diseased or injured skin should not be treated.
»
Fresh bleeding and haemorrhages in the treatment area should not be treated
on account of the increased risk of bleeding.
»
The eyes should not be exposed to the direct heat radiation.
»
Fresh inflammation, for example on soft parts, joints and vessels in the area of
application should not be treated.
»
Do not treat in cases where serious blood circulation disorders are involved in the
area of application.
»
Malignant diseases in the area of application must not be treated.
»
The heating lamp must not be used to treat the area of the external sex organs.
»
Where fresh swelling in the area of application is involved.
»
Children under the age of five years should not be treated.
