Introduction
Dear Customer,
By purchasing the Clamp-On Power Meter VC – 609 you have
obtained a state-of-the-art measuring device. Not only can it be
used to measure TRUE – rms. AC currents of up to 700 A but also
for power measurements between 20 kW up to 750 kW max.
This product is designed pursuant to DIN VDE 0411, part 1 for
measuring devices = EN 61010-1 or EN 61010-2-32 (for clamp-
on power meters). Furthermore, the Clamp-On Power Meter VC
– 609 is EMC-tested and therefore fulfils the requirements of the
established European and national guidelines. CE-conformity
has been proven; the relevant documents are in the possession
of the manufacturer.
To preserve this state and to ensure safe operation, the user must
read this operating manual carefully!
