The connection cables have two different lengths.
▶ Use the longer cable for devices with 7 kW.

Installation
DANGER
Danger to life from electric shock!
Touching live electrical parts can cause an electric shock.
▶ Before installing this product: disconnect the indoor unit
from the mains voltage.
▶ Before commissioning: mount the covers of the
electronics.
WARNING
Danger to life from electric shock or risk of material
damage from incorrect connection!
The connection module ensures a safety extra-low voltage is
absent in the input and output signal. Components may sustain
damage if they cannot tolerate mains voltage.
▶ Protect components connected to the input and output
signal against mains voltage.
▶ Do not connect voltage to the input and output signal.
▶ Make sure all live parts cannot be touched.

WARNING
Danger to life due to electrical shock!
The connection module ensures no safety extra-low voltage is
present. If connecting a room controller:
▶ We recommend in-wall installation and connection of the
room controller.
▶ If the room controller is installed on the wall, observe the
safety instructions in the corresponding technical
documentation.
▶ If the room controller with plug is available, prepare the
cable accordingly:
– Cut off plug and prepare cable for connection of the
wires.
– Shorten and isolate existing earthing cable.
– Connect wires to the terminal in the correct sequence
( Ch. 2.2, page 31).
▶ Connect cable to the connection module and secure with
cable tie.
▶ Install the connection module in the indoor unit. In doing so
connect the cable to the cover.
▶ Close covers and restore power supply.
