General safety instructions

H Safety precautions
Installation/assembly must be carried out by an authorised
qualified person with due regard to the relevant regulations.
Failure to comply with the regulations may result in material
damage and/or personal injury, including risk to life.
▶ Check that the scope of delivery is undamaged. Install only
parts which are in a faultless condition.
▶ Observe all the relevant instructions for other system
components, accessories and spare parts.
▶ Before starting any work: disconnect the system from the
power supply across all phases.
▶ Never install the product in wet rooms.
▶ The installation location must not be higher than 2000 m
above sea level.
▶ More safety instructions can be found in the technical
documentation of the indoor units.

H Intended use
The product must only be used to control the following indoor
units:
• Climate 3000i/Climate 3200i/Line Cool/Logacool
AC166i.2/Logacool AC166.3
• Climate 4000i
• Climate 5000i/Easy Cool
• Climate 7000i/Logacool AC186.3
• Climate 7100i
• Aero 700
• CRC R-1
• MC R
The room controller must correspond to the type CRC R-1.
All other use is considered unsuitable. We accept no liability for
damage caused through incorrect use.
H Original spare parts
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage resulting from
the use of parts other than original spare parts.
▶ Use only original spare parts and accessories from the
manufacturer.

Product information

You can expand the connection options of indoor units with the
connection module MC R as follows:
• Connection of a room controller
• Connection of input signals for contact switches (e.g.
contact switch, hotel card, window/door contact)
• Connection of output signals for contact switch (e.g. alarm
system, light)
The information in the illustrations may vary depending on the
indoor unit.
