For reasons of safety the following setting
should be carried out by the passenger!
Setting:
1.Car standing still, motor running:
Set desired volume with rotary knob.
2.Prepare EXPERT setting:
Press
button until signal sounds.
Turn rotary knob until e.g.
>SCVOL ...< is in display.
Press
button until colour
alters.
3.At higher speed:
Use rotary knob to set required volume,
e.g.>SCVOL 124< in display.
Press
button until signal sounds.
>SCVOL 00< : SCV switched off.
® Volume limit when switching on
>ONVO OFF<: no limit or
>ONVO
35<: max. volume, e.g. 35:
The volume is limited only if the volume
when the car radio is switched off is grea-
ter than the set value!

Select
the signal source where the volume

If you are often in reception areas which
have poor reception of "RDS programmes
with traffic announcements", you can pre-
vent the "autom. LEARN (LRN) in Radio
mode". See "Traffic radio", page 1-22.

@4 Autom. change of regional! programme
If an RDS programme consists of various
regional programmes, it may occur that
your car radio changes between regional
stations because of the reception area.
