BASS
Briefly press button.

End adiustment:

Immedi i ing:
Press button until signal sounds.
Overload protection
The overload protection may be triggered
under high ambient temperature and high
volume.
The final output stages of the speaker are
shut off and lighting is reduced for the dura-
tion of the overload.
Switching on and off at the unit:
Briefly press rotary knob.

LOUD (Loudness)
for better sound quality with low volume.

Program source RADIO
With Cassette or CD mode:
Briefly press button.
EASY CONTROL
Only those button symbols light up which
you need for radio operation.
The other buttons have no function.
Select range
Briefly press button (repeatedly).
FM ranges: FM 87.5...108.0 MHz
Switching between U1, UH, U tll:
Briefly press U Ill button (repeatedly).
MW range: AM 531...1602 kHz
LW range: long wave 153...279 kHz
Range selected:
You will hear that station which was last
played in this range/RDS programme
(Last-station-memory).
Stereo reception (FM only),
if >CD< is in display.
Manual switch to Mono:
Press button until signal sounds;
> O< in display.
Switch back to stereo:
Press button until signal sounds.

Setting RDS programmes
LEARN memory
With the push of a button,
you can store up to 25 RDA programmes in
the LEARN memory!
You can call up the stored RDS programmes
in sequence,
— manually (RDS SCAN) or
— automatically (AUTOSCAN).
Assigning LEARN memory
Range: U |, U Il or U Ill.
Press (AE) button until signal sounds:
RDS programmes (max. 25) in your recep-
tion area are stored;
>LRN ...<is in display.
Subsequently you will hear the RDS pro-
grammes with the best reception.

On/Off: Press (2) button
