2.5.4 Change Password
The display shows "---"
The 100 digit can now be changed using the buttons.
Press the ★ button to confirm the entry, then enter the 10 and 1 digit. Press
the ★ button to confirm and check the password again. Press the ★ button
again to save the new password and display OK.
If the new password is not entered correctly, the station switches to operating
mode without changing the password and the process must be repeated.
2.6. Temperature Calibration
NOTE: The temperature should be checked after every change of soldering
iron, heating element or tip and calibrated if necessary.
This setting cannot be made if the password protection is switched on, carry
out points 2.5.1 and 2.5.2 to confirm the password.
The QU191AD measuring device is recommended for measuring the actual
ACTUAL temperature at the soldering tip.
1. Set the temperature to 300°C. When the temperature has stabilized,
the temperature at the tip must be measured (recommended
measuring device: QU191AD).
2. Press and hold the 3 buttons
on the display.
3. The measured temperature can then be set using the
★ button confirms the entry.
CAUTION: An incorrectly determined or set calibration value will result in an
incorrect temperature display.
