• RV 2 pre-installation kit should only be stored
horizontally and in a dry place. Storage temper-
ature -25°C to +60 °C.
• Avoid high humidity, formation of condensation
and excessively long storage times.
• Protect the mounting sleeve from damage
(knocks, impacts, etc.).
• Do not store the mounting sleeve in an environ-
ment with corrosive substances. Protect the
mounting sleeve from dust, moisture and sun-
light.

ilation units = 2 m
Information
• Number of ventilation units: At least 1 RV 2
unit pair and a maximum of 8 RV 2 units.
• Controls: In addition to the master controller, 3
further controllers (slaves) are permitted on the
RS 485 bus.
• Keep a minimum distance of 2 m between 2
ventilation units if they are in heat recovery
mode, otherwise ventilation short circuit. If
the RV 2 units change to supply air and exhaust
air at the same time, the minimum distance is ir-
relevant.
• Bathroom: The use of RV 2 units in bathrooms
is not permitted.
• Kitchens, open-plan kitchens, dining kit-
chens: The use of RV 2 units in kitchens is not
recommended. Alternatively, an ER 60 or ECA
100 ipro exhaust air fan can be connected to
the 230 V interface of the RLS 45 K.
