The RV 2 VS pre-installation kit for renovation
work has been specially developed for the
renovation of old buildings with thermal insu-
lation.
These instructions contain important information
for the specialist installer on installing the pre-
installation kit for renovation work (mounting
sleeve), 90° deflection unit for renovation
work and the stainless steel external cover.
The pre-installation kit is supplied in the two
packaging units RV 2 VS and RV 2 VS 90E.
The RV 2 final installation with the installation
of the slide-in module and the internal cover
is described in the installation instructions RV 2
final installation kit.
It is imperative to observe the supplementary
safety instructions for PushPull ventilation
units with important information for users and
specialist installers.

instructions. Installation only per-
missible when carried out by
trained specialists, electrical con-

carried out by qualified electri-

3 Specialist installer qualifications

Installation may only be carried out by specialists
who have the necessary knowledge and experi-
ence in ventilation technology.
Electrical connection, commissioning, mainten-
ance and repairs may only be carried out by qual-
ified electricians in accordance with DGUV reg-
ulation 3, Section 2 (3) and in compliance with the
relevant standards (e.g. DIN EN 50110-1) and
technical rules.
Further provisions of other national laws must
be taken into account.
Qualifications and requirements needed for in-
stallation work: Specialist training and knowledge
of compulsory technical standards, EU Directives
and EU Ordinances. The installations must be
carried out professionally. Applicable building reg-
