Transport inspection
Check delivery immediately for damage and integrity. Where necessary make a complaint immediately.
CAUTION
Damage due to incorrect handling during transport and storage!
Protect the device from moisture, frost and mechanical damage during transport and tem-
porary storage.

Intended use
•
The CIF modules are designed for external control and signalling of the operating status of Wilo pumps.
•
The CIF modules are not designed for safe deactivation of the pump.
DANGER
Risk of fatal electrical shock!
If used improperly, there is danger of death due to electric shock!
• Never use the control inputs for safety functions.
• Never install the module in non-compatible devices.

Compatibility of the firmware
To ensure that the functions of the CIF module are available, the following firmware versions (or higher) of
the product in which the module is installed are required:
