4.5 To start and stop the product
Warning! Keep your hands, feet, hair, and clothes
away from the moving parts of the product. The blades
starts to rotate when the product starts.
Warning! Do not start the product indoors or in
a closed area. The fumes from the product contains
carbon monoxide that can cause serious personal injury
or death.
Warning! Keep your hands and feet away from the
engine and exhaust pipe because they get hot during
operation and can cause burn injuries.
Warning! Always stand behind the product when
you start and operate the product.

Push the safety bail bar towards the top handle.

Pull the starter handle slowly approximately 0–15
cm until it catches and then pull it quickly.
Note! If the engine is cold or if the product stops because
it gets too little fuel, push the primer bulb 3-5 times.

When the product has started, let the starter
handle slowly return to its initial position.

To stop the product, release the safety bail bar.
Make sure that the engine stops.
4.6 To lawn mow
Warning! Do not open the ejector opening guard
during operation to prevent serious personal injury.
Warning! Do not run when you operate the product
and be careful on surfaces that are not leveled.
● Be very careful when you mow and change direction
on slopes. Do not mow very steep slopes. Mow across
slopes, not up and down.
● If possible, mow when the grass is dry. Wet grass can
cause blockage of the blades and the grass catcher.
● Do not cut more than 1/3 of the height of the grass.
● Set the lever to adjust mowing height to its lowest
position when you mow for the first time of the season,
or when the grass is very dry.
● During the operation, regularly stop the product and
clean the blades and bottom of the deck from debris
and blockages. Use a brush, broom or equivalent to
clean these areas, do not use your hands or feet.

Set the applicable mowing height. Refer to "4.3 To
adjust the mowing height" on page 10.

Start the product. Refer to "4.5 To start and stop
the product" on page 11.

Hold the top handle and the safety bail bar tightly
and push the product forward.
4.7 To remove grass from the grass
catcher
● Remove the grass from the grass catcher when
cuttings starts to fall onto the lawn behind the product.

Lift the ejector opening guard with one hand and
remove the grass catcher by the handle with the
other hand.
Note! The ejector opening guard is self-closing and will
fall down when you release it.

Remove the grass from the grass catcher.

Remove remaining grass from the ejector opening
with a brush, broom or equivalent. Do not use your
hands or feet.

Attach the grass catcher to the product. Refer to
"3.2 To attach the grass catcher" on page 9.
5
Transport
Warning! Stop the product, remove the spark plug
cap and let all moving parts have come to a complete
stop before you lift or move the product.
● Let the product become completely cool before you
lift the product.
5.1
To move the product in a vehicle
Warning! Do not remove the fuel from the fuel tank
in a closed area, near open flames or other heat sources.
Do not smoke when you remove the fuel from the fuel
tank. Petrol and petrol fumes are highly flammable and
can be explosive.

Remove the fuel from the fuel tank, if possible use
a fuel pump.
