INSTRUCTIONS
WINDING CROWN
The winding crown is used to manually wind the
watch (position 1) and to set the time (position 2).
WINDING
Your watch incorporates a self-winding movement.
The movements of your wrist set a centrifugal mass
in motion; this tensions the mainspring, which
stores the energy. When you take off your fully
wound watch, it will continue to run for at least
38 hours for caliber 240 HU C and 48 hours for
caliber 240 HU. When it has stopped after deplet-
ing the power reserve, it can be rewound by hand
(about 10 clockwise turns of the crown).

SETTING THE TIME
To set the time, proceed as follows:
1. Press the time-zone selection pusher
10 o'clock repeatedly until the city name that corre-
sponds to your time zone is at 12 o'clock.
2. Pull the crown out slightly and move the hands
in either direction until they indicate the time in
your time zone. Make sure the 24-hour disk
cates the correct time of day directly opposite the
city name at 12 o'clock.
Once you have set the correct time, push the crown
home again.
Note: After this setting, the time and the city on the 24-hour
disk indicated by the arrow at 12 o'clock correspond to
the time displayed by the hands.
For watches equipped with 240 HU C caliber:
If your watch has stopped running, first move the hands
clockwise until you have set the correct time. The 24-hour
disk allows you to distinguish a.m. and p.m. times. The
date can be set at a later stage, using the correction stylus.
