Sometimes it is necessary to click on "Format" several times as certain SD
cards take more time than the easyTRX2 expects. We recommend SD-
Cards from "SanDisk " for best compatibility and reliability.
The easyTRX2 devices format the SD card in FAT format. If the card was
already formatted in a PC it always needs to be formatted by the
easyTRX2 again. The reason for that is that the easyTRX2 device sets up a
file structure which permits to save the AIS and GPS data on the card in
real time.
