of other adjacent ships.
If previous recordings exist on the card the new data is simply attached. If
the memory space on the SD card is full the oldest data is overwritten
successively. No data will be lost by switching off the easyTRX2. If you
remove the SD card during recording some data might be lost. Thus we
recommend to switch the easyTRX2 off before removing the SD card.
Usage of SD cards with 1 GB or 2 GB is possible. SD cards with more
memory space are not supported. We recommend SD cards of the brand
"SanDisk" for best compatibility and reliability. With a 2 GB SD card
recording for 100 days in high frequented areas is possible (e.g. Rotterdam
port) in less frequented areas of course considerably more.
Please find the analyzer „SD Analysis" on the enclosed CD-ROM. The
software is absolutely self-explanatory and easy to use. Therefore we will
not go into details about this software.
To analyze the data you have to remove the SD card from your TRX2
device and then put it into the card reader of your PC.
For programming of the device and the SD card software there is a
seperate quick guide. We would be happy to send it to you via email. You
can also download it from our Website.
A GPS signal is necessary for the AIS data analysis as the information
regarding position and time are mandatory.
