From the size d32 the pumps are equipped with
grease nipples.
The pump bearings are lubricated with quality lithium
soap grease.
Under normal operating conditions it is advisable to
lubricate through the grease nipples, at least once a
year for operation at 2,900-3,600 1/min and at least
EN
once every 2 years for operation at 1,450-1,800
1/min.
The time intervals should be halved in case of heavy
use (more than eight hours per day of operation, in
dusty or humid environments, with high ambient tem-
peratures).
Re-lubricate with the engine running.
The table on page 86 indicates the types of bearings
of the different pumps and the quantity of grease for
relubrication in grams (g).
8.4.2 Lubricating the motor bearings
For the motor see the separate instructions supplied
with the motor.
8.5. Dismantling the system
Close the suction and delivery gate valves and drain
the pump casing before dismantling the pump.

pump casing before dismantling the pump.

cross section drawing.
The motor and all internal parts can be dismantled
without removing the pump casing and pipes.

Disassembly sequence with normal coupling wi-
thout spacer (fig. 10):
1) coupling guard;
2) motor;
3) support foot (if fitted);
4) on removing the nuts (14.28) the bearing hou-
sing and shaft unit, with impeller and casing cover,
is completely removed.

9. DISPOSAL

OFF
The final disposal of the device must be done by spe-
cialized company.
Make sure the specialized company follows the clas-
sification of the material parts for the separation.
Observe the local regulations and dispose the device
accordingly with the international rules for environ-
ment protection.

10.1 Spare-parts request
When ordering spare parts, please quote their desi-
gnation, position number in the cross section drawing
and rated data from the pump name plate.
The spare parts request shall be sent to CALPEDA
S.p.A. by phone, e-mail.
