2.7. Calibration
NOTE: The QU196 meter is recommended for calibration. If no QU196 is
available, then a QU191 can also be used. When measuring, hold the
temperature probe approx. 3-5mm in front of the hot air nozzle.
1. Switch on the station and remove the hot air bath from the tray.
set 300°C
2. When the display has stabilized, measure the hot air temperature.
3. press and hold ▲ /▼ simultaneously until CAL is displayed.
4. Use the ▲ /▼ keys to set the measured temperature.
5. Press ▲ /▼ simultaneously to save the value.
A control tone confirms the calibration.
2.8. Changing the heating element
CAUTION: Repairs may only be carried out by qualified
personnel or an authorized workshop! All work must be carried out
without voltage and with the components cooled down to room
temperature!
1. Remove 3 screws①.
2. Pull the holder⑤ with heating element③ and steel tube② out of
the handle⑥.
3. Disconnect the yellow and orange cables from the heating
element③.
4. Remove the screw on the steel pipe②.
5. Disconnect green ground wire from steel pipe②.
6. Pull out steel pipe②.
