16. Service life

The service life of the TURTLE FrameX rescue stretcher depends on the respective operating conditions. Based on previous
experience, a service life of 10 years can be expected under normal operating conditions. The year of manufacture of the
rescue stretcher is indicated on the nameplate. If stored correctly and the sealed packaging is checked annually in
accordance with the specified guidelines, the rescue stretcher can be stored in the vacuum-sealed packaging for up to 15
years, with a maximum service life of 15 years. The rescue harness with carrying function must be returned to the
manufacturer in the event of any type of damage to any components for the damage to be analyzed and, if necessary,
repaired. Continued use of the rescue harness with damaged components will result in immediate loss of the liability claim.
