7. Attachment and transporting - Applications
The following application options may only be used after the harness straps of the rescue stretcher have been fully fastened
(see chapter 6).
Requirements:
•
The anchor point must always be above the rescue stretcher.
•
A minimum load-bearing capacity of the anchor point of 12 kN is required.
•
All attachment points on the rescue stretcher are labelled with an "A" symbol.
Possible applications:
1. O-ring (main attachment point)
•
Horizontal transport: The snap carabiner is connected to the O-ring.
•
Vertical transport: The snap carabiner is disconnected from the O-ring.
Advantage: A change from the horizontal to the vertical position can be carried out under load. This is done by
relieving the load on the rescue stretcher using the leg support, which allows the snap carabiner to be released
from the O-ring.
2. Loop on the headband (optional)
•
Application: Vertical transport.
3. D-ring in the rescue harness (optional)
•
For additional attachment options.
Note: Always observe the safety instructions and the maximum permissible loads during use.
