MIG-225SYN
Electrode Welding
Electrode welding or MMA welding is one of the oldest welding processes that uses stick electrodes that
protect the melt from chemical reactions with the ambient air. In this process, an arc burns between an
electrode and the workpiece, melting the electrode into a filler material.
Electrode Diameter
Depending on the electrode diameter, you determine the desired current range in which you will be
welding. You set the amperage on the front of the device with the welding control button, which you can
also read on the digital display. To know which area to select, refer to the information in the table below.

Once you have connected all the cables, the welding wire and, if necessary, the appropriate gas, you
need a welding machine connect to the mains and switch it on with the switch (15) on the back. Then
select the way that suits your welding process:
MIG AUTO - Mode
Press button 7 to select the MIG AUTO mode In MIG AUTO mode, the welding machine will make some
settings itself and with this help you in achieving the best possible welding results.
Gas selection
Press button 3 to select the shielding gas. There are 2 settings available: CO2 and Argon. Make the
selection with potentiometer 9. Set the potentiometer to the desired gas and allow 1-2 seconds for the
display to flash a few times to remember your setting.
* In MIG AUTO mode, only shielded gas welding is possible, the use of charged wire is not
possible in this mode.
Set the diameter of the welding wire with the button (6), the values 0.6 mm are available; 0.8 mm and
1.0 mm.
2T- / 4T - Mode
Use button 4 to set 2T or 4T operating mode. In 2T mode, you always need the burner key between
welding. In 4T mode, briefly press and release the burner button, also at the end when you want to stop
welding. In the meantime, keep the key released.
