MIG-225SYN
Welding with gas
Connect the cylinder with the appropriate gas hose to the gas connection (14) on the back of the devices,
via a reducing valve.
Connect the cable inside the device to the positive terminal "+" (20)
Connect the earth cable to the socket (11) with negative polarity.
Welding without gas
You do not need to connect a gas cylinder when welding with a filler wire.
Connect the cable inside the device to the negative terminal "-" (19)
Connect the earth cable to the socket (12) with positive polarity.
MMA Welding
Connect the welding cable and the earthing cable to the socket (11, 12) with the appropriate polarity
according to the electrode manufacturer's recommendation.
Pay attention to positive and negative attachment. Different types of electrodes require different
polarities, see electrode manufacturer's instructions.
* In TIG mode (LIFT TIG), connect the cables in the same way as in the case of "A rutile
electrode ".
Polarity:
The polarity depends on the information provided by the electrode manufacturer on the electrode
packaging.
Electrode NEGATIVE / workpiece POSITIVE - low-alloy rutile electrode types. (These are the most
commonly used)
Electrode POSITIVE / workpiece NEGATIVE - basic and high-alloy electrode types.
Connect the power cord to the appropriate voltage and power source and ensure the cord is secure.
The device can now be switched on by operating the on/off switch on the back and thereby putting it
into operation.
