ARRANTY
8.1.
ARRANTY PERIOD
BATEC MOBILITY guarantees all hard and structural parts for a period of three (3)
years rom the date o delivery in the case o material de ects or labour or the
original registered owner.
BATEC MOBILITY guarantees the BATTERY for a period of one (1) year rom the date
o delivery in the case o material de ects or labour or the original registered owner.
The BATTERY is considered a fungible part.
8.2.
ARRANTY CONDITIONS
• Fungibles (except or the BATTERY, which has a one-year warranty) are ex-
cluded rom the warranty, except in the case o premature wear on said
parts caused by original manu acturing de ects. These elements include
tyres, inner tubes, handles, cables for brakes, gear shifter and anchoring,
stand rame wheels and similar parts.
• I you have any uestions regarding the warranty, BATEC MOBILITY recom-
mends rst contacting your authorised BATEC MOBILITY distributor, who will
explain the solutions available or the problem.
• BATEC MOBILITY shall not be held responsible or any de ects that may arise as
a result o improper use or storage o the HANDBIKE BATEC ELECTRIC. I BATEC
MOBILITY considers that a part has not been properly installed, used or stored,
the warranty will be invalidated. Some examples are as ollows:
– The product or part hasn't been maintained according to BATEC MOBILITY
recommendations, as detailed in the user instructions and maintenance in-
structions.
– Non-original accessories have been used.
– The HANDBIKE BATEC ELECTRIC or its parts have been damaged due to neg-
ligence, accident or improper use.
– The HANDBIKE BATEC ELECTRIC or its parts have been modi ed in a way
that is not in line with BATEC MOBILITY speci cations or have undergone
repairs without notifying the authorised distributor or technical service
provider.
• BATEC MOBILITY reserves the right, with any claim, to re uire the claimant to
send all parts to BATEC MOBILITY or replacement or repair at their own cost. I
any o the parts are ound to be de ective, BATEC MOBILITY will determine wheth-
er to replace, repair or maintain the parts.
