tyre to remove any oreign bodies and, i necessary, clean well. Check the condi-
tions o the rim tape, particularly around the valve hole. Only strong, properly
placed rim tape can provide long-term protection against damage to the inner
tube caused by burrs and sharp spoke heads.
Be ore in ating the inner tube, check the whole tube to make sure it hasn't got
stuck between the tyre and the rim. Care ully pull on the valve and extract it or
optimal installation.
Reusing the BATEC ELECTRIC HANDBIKE
The BATEC ELECTRIC HANDBIKE can be reused. If you would like to reuse it,
please contact the distributor where you purchased it and they will take care of
sending the unit to be reused to the BATEC MOBILITY facilities. The unit to be
reused will be checked, given a tune-up and re-checked.

After installing the new inner tube, check tyre pressure. It is essential to keep
pressure at speci ed levels and to make sure tyres are in proper conditions in
order to ensure your personal safety and keep your HANDBIKE BATEC ELECTRIC
in proper working order.
