Before commissioning
7.1
Wall mounting
WARNING
Before wall mounting, make sure that there are no
lines in the wall in the area of the drill holes that
could be damaged.
Lay the mains cable so that it does not obstruct you
and no one can accidentally pull on it.
Children must not play with the product, even if it is
hanging on the wall.
Mounting behind doors and their swinging range is
not recommended, as there is a risk of tearing off or
otherwise damaging the product.
WARNING
The product must never be operated on a combustible
surface.
WARNING
Never attach the product to a wet surface.
* = not included in the scope of delivery!
The battery charger has two holes on its back for wall
mounting with two screws*. It can be hung on a wall, tak-
ing into account the safety instructions and the dimen-
sions given (see Fig. 1).

Operation
8.1
Charge battery
Charge the battery at an ambient temperature of 4 °C to
40°C.
* = not included in the scope of delivery!
1. Push the battery* into the battery mount (1) as far as it
will go.
2. Plug the mains plug into the socket. The LED strip (3)
lights up green.
3. As soon as the charging process starts, the LED strip
(3) flashes green.
4. The LED strip (3) lights up green when charging is
complete. The battery* is ready for use.
ATTENTION
If the red LED strips flash, the battery has overheat-
ed and cannot be charged.
If the LED strip flashes red and green alternately,
the battery is defective.
5. Pull the battery* out of the battery mount (1).
6. Wait at least 15 min until a new charging process.
Therefore, pull the mains plug out of the outlet.

Electrical connection
The connection complies with the applicable VDE and
DIN provisions. The customer's mains connection as
well as the extension cable used must also comply
with these regulations.
9.1
Important information
If the battery overheats, the charging process is terminat-
ed and the battery charger is switched off. After the bat-
tery has cooled down, the charging process can be re-
sumed.
Connection type Y
If it is necessary to replace the mains connection cable,
this must be done by the manufacturer or their represen-
tative to avoid safety hazards.
10 Cleaning
WARNING
Unplug the plug from the socket before carrying out any
work on the battery charger.
• Clean the product with a dry cloth or brush.
• Do not use water or metallic objects.
11 Maintenance
The product is maintenance-free.
12 Storage
1. Remove the battery from the product before pro-
longed storage (e.g. winter storage).
2. Clean and check the product for damage.
3. Store the battery in a partially charged state.
4. When stored, check the battery charge level every
three months.
5. Recharge the battery if necessary.
Store the battery in a dark, dry and frost-free place that is
inaccessible to children.
The optimum storage temperature lies between 0 °C and
45 ˚C.
Store the product in its original packaging.
