VI2F-PIT7WF INDOOR STATION WITH 7" TOUCH SCREEN WI-FI RANGE 2 WIRE V44 EASY
1) OVERVIEW
The VI2F-PIT7WF device is an audio/video indoor station for the AVE V44 EASY 2-wire video intercom system.
The functions and characteristics are as follows:
Audio/Video/Buttons: • 7" horizontal touch screen • Hands-free • Touch buttons: gates opening, silencing, camera display;
• Remote management via AVE VIDEO V44 APP;
Warnings: • Missed call • Door open• Ringtone silencing activated;
Video intercom functions: • Answering a call; • Viewing analogue cameras through a special VI2F-CAM interface;
• Management of auxiliary doorbell outside the door • Management of 4 gates (unlocking management #4 is active in devices with MCU ver. 1.07
and SW ver. 1.7.1 or later. Devices with versions earlier than those listed above can manage a maximum
number of 3 gates), two on the outdoor station and one optional one on an auxiliary relay VI2F-RELAY; • Intercommunication between
appliances of the same apartment or of others
2) DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY
The VI2F-PIT7WF device complies with the following standards:
• EN 62820-1-1:2016 Building intercom systems - Part 1-1: System requirements - General grade 2 • RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU;
• REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006; • RED Directive 2014/53/EU (only where applicable): The full text of the EU declaration of conformity

3) INSTALLATION, POSITIONING AND FIXING
The device should be installed at a height of 1.5 m from the ground. Screw the screws supplied to secure the support bracket to the rectangular box, after it has been horizontally recessed.
Once wiring operations have been completed, align the slots in the back of the monitor with the bracket hooks (1) and slide the device slightly downwards (2).
ATTENTION: the device is equipped with a Wi-Fi card. If a system features more than no.1 art. VI2F-PIT7WF, it is necessary to install a "local" power supply (art. VI2F-ALI600MA) for each device.
Check the maximum absorptions of the devices installed in order to avoid high absorptions on the bus which would compromise correct operation.

The meanings of the connection terminals and dip-switches on the rear of the device are shown below:

6) FIRST START-UP
The device can be powered directly by the 2-wire BUS or by a stabilised 30 Vdc power supply
(VI2F-ALI600MA).
When first switched on, or after a factory reset, the LCD will display the
language selection page: after selecting the language, the home page of the device will be displayed.
Note: if no language is selected, English will be the automatic default language after 1 minute.
7) HOME PAGE
The home page of the device can be divided into different chapters:
System info: part reserved for general device information and weather forecasts.
Weather information: weather forecasts. The device, if connected to the internet, can show
weather forecasts for four consecutive days, made available by the Ilmeteo.it service. Weather information
the following are available: weather forecast, minimum temperature, maximum temperature and current
temperature of the desired location.
To select the city for which you wish to view the weather forecast:
1. Press the 3 dots in the top right corner; 2. Enter the name of the desired location; 3. Press "Confirm";
The default city displayed by the device is Rome and the device provides the date and time of the last update
performed.
Systems: management of the "advanced" functions of the system (to be activated in the "settings" menu):
Wired Home Automation: interfacing with the AVE DOMINA PRO home automation system; • Smart Home Automation:
interfacing with the connected AVE DOMINA SMART civil series; • KNX wired home automation: interfacing with
a third-party KNX web server (it is advisable to check compatibility by calling Customer Service on freephone
number 800 015 072); • Anti-intrusion alarm: interfacing with the anti-intrusion alarm control units of the AVE
AF927 range; • Surveillance: display of outdoor station cameras or IP cameras connected to the system; • Video intercom: management of the video intercom system;
Controls and scenarios: management of scenarios associated with wired home automation or typical features of the video intercom system: • Scenario 1-5: activation of scenarios managed by
the home automation web server; the buttons can only be used when there is a home automation web server and the home automation system is correctly configured; • Video intercom: activation
of intercom call between indoor stations in the same apartment or intercommunicating calls between different apartments (function deactivated by default); • Relay: menu for the management of
auxiliary relays art. VIIP-RELAY (not supplied with the product); • Call log: history of calls received; • Mute: button to silence the device ringtone. The active silencing function is indicated by a red
icon representing a loudspeaker, in the top right corner of the display; • Voice message: this function allows for a voice message to be saved on the device.
Configuration menu
On the home page of the device, it is possible to access a "drop-down" menu by pressing the three horizontal lines at the top
of the LCD and scrolling down to have access to various features.
The following operations can be performed from the menu:
Button 1 - mute ringtone; the fact that the ringtone has been turned off is indicated by a crossed-out loudspeaker icon
in the top right corner of the home page;
Button 2 - LCD cleaning: pressing this button locks the LCD for 30 seconds during which it can be
cleaned.
Attention: use a damp cloth for the cleaning procedure of the device's LCD; do not use detergents or other
"aggressive" products.
Button 3 - screen lock: pressing this button locks the device's LCD. Once press on the LCD unlocks
the device.
Button 4 - restart: pressing this button restarts the device.
Button 5 - Wi-Fi: access the Wi-Fi configuration page of the device.
Button 6 – display: access the display configuration parameters.
From the menu, it is also possible to access all sub-menus and all device parameters by pressing the settings button:
Button 7 – Settings: access the system configuration parameters. Within the configuration menu,
access to the sub-menus containing the most critical parameters is password-protected.
