Note: at a room temperature of 25 °C, it will take about 48 hours for an uncooled keg to cool
down.
11. When the dispenser is switched on, the beer temperature will drop to a constant 3-6 °C
and the LED display will show the current beer temperature.
WARNING: depending on the ambient conditions, the appliance may not reach the preset
minimum temperature.
12. Check that the tap is properly installed before serving beer. In general, the tap lever
should be pointing upwards, indicating that the tap is closed.
13. To pour the beer, open the tap by pulling the lever forward about 15° until the beer
starts to flow. If you open the tap fully to 90° and release it, the lever will automatically
rise to its initial position. Fig. 8
14. If you prefer to use the dispenser as a refrigerator, remove the keg and replace the tap
with the gasket. This gives you additional space to cool up to four 310 mm high bottles
or 12 cans of any beverage.
WARNING: content under pressure. Do not shake or drop. Do not expose to sunlight or
temperatures above 30 °C. Even if the keg is empty, do not force it open or expose it to flames
or fire.
Recommendation: It is advisable to always keep an extra keg in the fridge. This way you will
always have a cold keg available. It is also advisable to switch the dispenser on at least one
hour before use, to enjoy the full benefits of pre-cooling the keg.
How to dispense beer correctly
To dispense a beer correctly, follow the steps below:
1. Make sure the keg is well chilled before connecting it to the dispenser. The beer should
be at a temperature of approximately 3 °C to 6 °C.
2. Choose a clean glass and cool it beforehand if possible.
3. When you start pouring the beer, tilt the glass to an angle of approximately 45º.
4. Open the dispenser tap lever firmly and continuously, avoiding sudden movements.
5. Keep the glass tilted under the tap so that the beer flows smoothly down the wall of
the glass.
6. As the glass fills, gradually straighten it until it is upright. This helps to reduce excessive
frothing.
7. Try to get about 2-3 cm of froth on the top of the glass. The froth helps to maintain the
aroma and flavour of the beer.
