Troubleshooting
Potential causes for false alarms: Welding
and cutting work, soldering or work processes that
generate high heat, sawing and grinding work, dust
formation from construction or cleaning work, steam,
steam from cooking, extreme electromagnetic inter-
ference, condensation due to strong temperature
fluctuations.
The most common causes for false alarms are dust
deposits/ dust build-up. Clean your smoke detectors
as described in the section "Maintenance" to rule
this out as a source of error as much as possible. If
you cannot remedy the problem in this way, please
contact the service partner.
Smartwares accepts no liability for direct and/ or in-
direct losses or damages of any kind which can be
traced back to an absent alarm signal from the smoke
detector in the event that smoke develops or in the
event of a fire.
