To replace the battery
Open the device (see Fig. A), remove the spent bat-
tery and insert a new battery

IMPORTANT: Every time you replace the battery,
test the smoke detector
correctly by pressing the test button
IMPORTANT: Only replace the battery
a certified battery type specified in the chapter
"Technical data".

Maintenance

Testing functionality

We recommend testing each smoke detector every month
or after a prolonged absence to ensure it functions correctly.
During the test, stand at an arm's length from the
smoke detector to avoid hearing damage.
