Activating the device

Activate the smoke detector
check that it functions correctly. To do so, follow these
steps:
To open the device, turn the base plate
clockwise (see Fig. A).
Insert the battery
Position the battery on the red safety lever
press it into the battery compartment. Otherwise, the
base plate
Take note of the date of activation on the rating plate.
