Cleaning
To guarantee its proper function, the smoke detector
should be cleaned once a month to remove dust deposits
and cleaned using a vacuum cleaner every six months.
Ensure that all of the device's openings are dust-free.
Use a dry, clean cloth or brush to clean the device.
Do not use any scouring agents or solvents. Avoid
getting any electrical parts damp.
Never clean the inside of the smoke detector. If you
do so, you will lose your warranty claims and the
function of the alarm could be impaired.
Test the device after cleaning it to check that it func-
