Before using the round bending machine for the first time, be sure to lubricate
the chains and rollers!
The upper limbs must be kept away from the machine when feeding and
processing the workpiece. Crushing hazard!
Adjusting the sheet thickness
• The sheet thickness is adjusted using the two adjusting screws (7).
• Unscrewing increases the gap between the upper and lower roller, screwing it in
reduces it.
• It is advantageous to insert the sheet first and then adjust the distance between the two
rollers so that they are in contact with the sheet.
Adjusting the guide roller
• The guide roller (4) is adjusted using the two adjusting screws (2).
• To achieve a larger rounding radius of the plate, the adjusting screws must be
unscrewed.
• For a smaller rounding radius, the adjusting screws must be screwed in.
• To produce straight pipes, the guide roller (4) must be set parallel to the other rollers.
• For conical pipes, the guide roller (4) must be set at an angle. To do this, one of the
adjusting screws (2) must be screwed in deeper than the other.
Prepare material
The material should meet the following requirements:
• Dry and clean, free of oil.
• The material thickness must correspond to the specifications. (see technical data)
• The material should have one degree of hardness throughout.
• It is advisable to buy high-quality material.
• The surface of the areas to be bent should be smooth.
A complete bend with one pass is not possible. Several passes are required to achieve the
desired radius. Tighter bends and full radii always require several passes. Always machine
the workpiece in the center of the rollers.
