Adjusting the parallel guide
(Fig. C)
1. Loosen the retaining screws (20).
2. Set the scale on the parallel guide
(28) so that you can read the desired
cutting width on the mount (18) mark-
ing.
3. Retighten the retaining screws (20).
4. Make a test cut, check the cutting
width and correct the position of the
parallel guide (28) if necessary.

• You can set the following cutting
angles:
−45°; −22.5°; 0°; 22.5°; 45°
Procedure (Fig. D)
1. Remove the splinter guard (29).
2. Switch off the device and remove the
battery (9). Make sure that all moving
parts have come to a complete stop.
3. Open the lever (6).
4. Push the footplate (12) forwards
slightly.
5. Adjust the footplate (12) to the desired
position.
6. Press the footplate (12) backwards in-
to one of the notches.
7. Close the lever (6) fix the position.
External dust extraction
Connecting external dust extrac-
tion (Fig. E)
1. Disable the dust blower function (7).
2. Slide the adaptor for external dust ex-
traction (11) as far as it will go into
the guide rail between the device and
baseplate (12).
3. Connect a suitable dust extraction (not
included) to the adaptor for external
dust extraction (11).
4. If the external dust extractor does not
fit, use the additional reducer (10).

1. Remove the dust extraction from the
adaptor for external dust extraction
(11) or reducer piece (10).
2. Remove the reducer piece (10) and
the adaptor for external dust extraction
(11).

bottom into the recess in the baseplate
(12).

1. Press the splinter guard (29) away
from the recess in the baseplate (12).

line guide adaptor
With the line guide adaptor (19), you can
better align with the drawn cutting lines.
Attaching the line guide adaptor
1. Push the line guide adaptor (19) from
the bottom into the recess at the front
of the baseplate (12).
2. Fold the line guide adaptor (19) in the
direction of the baseplate (12).
The line guide adaptor clicks into
place at the top edge.
Removing the line guide adaptor
1. Press on the baseplate from below with
your index finger and at the front from
above with your thumb against the line
guide adaptor (19).
