• Children and physically, emotionally or mentally challenged
persons, as well as other persons whose experience or

precautions, should not operate the charger without the
supervision of a responsible person. Otherwise there is a danger
that the device will be mishandled resulting in injury.
• When the charger is not in use, it should be disconnected
from the mains.
• All charging instructions must be followed, and the battery
must not be charged at a temperature outside the range
specified in the rating table in the operating instructions.
Charging incorrectly or at temperatures outside the specified
range can damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.
CHARGER REPAIR
• A defective charger must not be repaired. Repairs to the
charger are only permitted by the manufacturer or an authorised
service centre.
• The used charger should be taken to a disposal centre for
this type of waste.
ATTENTION: The device is designed for indoor operation.
Despite a design that is safe by design, the use of safety
measures and additional protective measures, there is always
a risk of residual injury during operation. Li-Ion batteries can
leak, catch fire or explode if they are heated to high
temperatures or short-circuited. Do not store them in the car
during hot and sunny days. Do not open the battery pack. Li-
Ion batteries contain electronic safety devices which, if
damaged, can cause the battery to catch fire or explode.

CONSTRUCTION AND PURPOSE
The hammer drill is a hand-held power tool powered by a
battery. The device is driven by a commutator DC motor. The
hammer drill can be used in non-impact or impact mode. The
hammer drill is designed for drilling holes in wood, metal,
plastic and ceramics in non-impact mode as well as in
concrete, stone, brick, etc. in impact mode. Its areas of use
are the execution of renovation and construction work,
carpentry and any work in the field of independent amateur
activity (DIY).
Do not misuse the power tool.

REMOVING / INSERTING THE BATTERY
• Set the direction of rotation switch (3) to the centre position.
• Press the battery fixing button (8) and slide out the battery (7)
(Fig. A).
• Insert the charged battery (7) into the holder in the handle until
the battery retaining button audibly engages
(8).
CHARGING THE BATTERY
Battery charging should be carried out in conditions where the

has not been used for a long period of time will reach full
power capability after approximately 3 - 5 charge and
discharge cycles.
• Remove the battery (7) from the unit (Fig. A).
• Plug the charger into a mains socket (230 V AC).
• Insert the battery pack (7) into the charger (10) (Fig. B).Check
that the battery pack is properly seated (pushed all the way in).
When the charger is plugged into a mains socket (230 V AC), the
green LED (9) on the charger lights up to indicate that the voltage
is connected.
When the battery pack (7) is placed in the charger (10), the
red LED (9) on the charger will illuminate to indicate that the
battery is being charged.
At the same time, the green LEDs (12) of the battery's state
of charge light up pulsatingly in different patterns (see
description below).
• Pulse lighting of all LEDs - indicates battery depletion and the
need to recharge.
• Pulsating illumination of
discharge.
• Pulsating 1 LED - indicates high battery charge.
When the battery is charged, the LED (9) on the charger lights up
green and all the battery charge status LEDs (12) light up
continuously. After a certain time (approx. 15s), the battery charge
status LEDs (12) go out.
The battery should not be charged for more than 8 hours.
Exceeding this time may damage the battery cells. The charger
will not switch off automatically when the battery is fully
charged. The green LED on the charger will remain lit. The
battery charge status LED will turn off after a period of time.
