DISCONNECTING THE AUTOMATIC TRANSFER SWITCH FROM THE MAINS
WARNING
To switch the automatic transfer switch voltage-free, please proceed as follows:
1) Switch terminal block X1 (mains connection) voltage-free

2) Switch terminal block X2 (power storage system) voltage-free
Shut down the power storage system in accordance with the handling instructions in the manual, determine the absence of
voltage and secure it against reactivation!
3) Switch terminal block X3 (Backup-supply) voltage-free or determine the absence of voltage
If generators are connected to the X3 terminal block (backup-supply) in addition to consumers, these must first be taken out
of operation in accordance with handling instructions in the corresponding manuals and secured against reactivation. The
absence of voltage of the terminal X3 has to be determined!
8.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
You should regularly check the Automatic Transfer Switch for function and safety. According to DGUV regulation 3 §5, electrical systems
and stationary electrical equipment in „operating sites, rooms and systems of a special kind" (DIN VDE 010-712 for PV systems) must be
checked ONCE a year by a qualified electrician!
The installed residual current circuit breakers (RCCB) must be checked regularly by the system operator for their basic function (= „test
button").
QUALIFIED
ELECTRICIAN
The plant operator should test the backup power operation at least once a year. To do this, proceed as described in chapter 6.4 - „Checking
the system in the event of a mains failure".
Visual inspection
Depending on the mounting location and the ambient conditions, there may be more or less external soiling of the enclosure. Clean
carefully here with a damp cleaning cloth.
ƒ Do not use aggressive cleaning agents!
ƒ Do not open the hinged cover of the enclosure for this purpose!

QUALIFIED
ELECTRICIAN
A complete test of the residual current circuit breakers must be carried out by a qualified
electrician in accordance with the specifications of VDE 0100-600 before initial commissioning.
This test includes proof of compliance with switch-off times and rated residual currents according
to VDE 0100-410.
