Connecting the communication
To connect the „Activation grid disconnection" (X4) and „Detection power failure" (X5) cables to the „DIG OUT" and „DIG IN" interfaces of
the Vitocharge VX3 power storage, please use the plug-in terminals included in the scope of delivery of the Automatic Transfer Switch (see
positions P und Q in chapter 3 - Scope of delivery).

TEST AND COMMISSIONING
6.1
General
QUALIFIED
ELECTRICIAN
Requirements
Automatic Transfer Switch is firmly mounted.
All required cables are correctly mounted and connected.
All checks required to be performed in advance for stationary electrical equipment in accordance with the national/local
installation regulation (e.g. according to DGUV Regulation 4)have been completed..
PE to the main equipotential bonding rail is connected.
All miniature circuit breakers and residual current circuit breakers in the Automatic Transfer Switch are deactivated!
Tightening torques on the components
The tightening torques of all screw connections on the Automatic Transfer Switch have been determined according to the
recommendations of the component manufacturers.
Nevertheless, clamping points may become loose during transport under certain circumstances.

Please check the tightness of all screw connections at least randomly. If you notice loose clamping
points, the tightening torques according to the data sheet must be observed when retightening the
clamping points. (see Technical data - tightening torques)
