Configuration settings
Operating modes of console modules
Depending on the application of the KVM extender, you can select one of the fol-
lowing operating modes:
 OpenAccess mode:
authentication.
NOTE: This operating mode is set by default.
You can configure the same access rights for both a KVM extender and a user
account.
IMPORTANT:
The configured access rights apply to all users working with this
KVM extender.
 Standard mode: The default mode allows access to the KVM extender only after
users are authenticated with their username, password, and 2-factor authentication
if set up.
NOTE: This operating mode is set by default, if you use the extender as a
(see Optional connection to a KVM matrix switch on page 4).

How to select the operating mode of the KVM extender:
1. Press Ctrl+Num
2. Select the row
