Ensuring safe operation of the device
The TruConvert DC 1008 – 1010 DC-DC module is an incomplete product. The DC-DC module is intended to be
integrated in a complete system. The system integrator must ensure that the connected energy source, such as
the battery, is separated from the DC-DC module in case of malfunction.
Only operate the device within the conditions described in chapter "Technical specifications".
The device must not be opened.
Only operating personnel without pacemaker or implants may work in the operational site.
For the electrical connection, use only cables that are in perfect condition and have the correct dimensions.
Perform periodic electrical safety inspections according to country-specific requirements. (e. g. for Germany:
DGUV regulation 3)
Requirements for the site
Operation is permissible in a closed electrical operating room only.
Sufficient space must be present for air intake and air outlet in order to ensure adequate cooling of the device.
(see operator's manual, chapter 6 "Installation", "Requirements for the site")
Fuses
Fuses must be provided on-site by the customer.
For externe fuses, note: Switch-on currents can be greater than the nominal current. Use suitable precharger!

Warning signs on the device
Simultaneous control via web GUI and Modbus is possible!
Power transmission stopped using the user interface can
be started again and reversed via Modbus.
Ø Note that the device can be controlled via a different chan-
nel (user interface or Modbus).
Select minimum cross section according to local regulations.
Maximum inductivity: 8 µH.
Maximum length: < 5 m.
The cross section of the protective earth is dependent on the
grounding concept of the overall system.
