Battery Replacement
1. Removethe smoke alarm from the mounting bracket by twisting
counterclockwise.
2. Take out the o d battery and install a new one, making sure to match the
battery's polarities.
3. Test the alarm by pressing the Test/SiIence button on the device.
4. Attach the alarm onto the mounting bracket by twisting c ockwise until It
is firmly secured.
Note:
When you replace the battery, the LEDindicator on the alarm will flash red
once and blue for a few seconds,indicating the alarm is back online. Ifthe
LEDindicator flashes blue for anger than two minutes, you will need to
re-add the alarm to the system by repeating the steps above.
