RoHS and WEEE
Information concerning Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS):
This product and its information, meets the requirements of the RoHS Directive
(2011/65/EU).
Information concerning Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE):
This product and its information, meets the requirements of the WEEE Direc-
tive (2012/19/EU), and must be handled according to the directive.
The product and/or its battery are marked with a crossed trashcan, see figure be-
low.
The symbol indicates that parts within the product must be handled in accor-
dance with the WEEE Directive. These parts are indicated as "WEEE" in the
Spare part list, see under Remarks.
The entire product, or the WEEE parts, can be sent to your "Customer Centre"
for handling.

Handling
Operating
With the operating switch in the forward position, the screwdriver is started by
pressing the trigger. Run the screwdriver till the preset torque is reached and the
clutch releases. Then you will hear a click sound from the clutch and the green
LED will lighten and the motor will be shut off.

The trigger must be released before changing the operating switch.
Temperature
Temperature in excess of 50°C reduce the performance of the battery. Avoid
extended exposure to heat or sunshine (risk of overheating).
Setting of tightening torque
For accurate operation and safety, the tightening torque of the screwdriver must
be set correctly in relation to the screw joint. Check the torque figure for the ac-
tual joint and the tightening torque given to the joint.
Atlas Copco's Torque Analyser, ACTA 4000, plus an appropriately-sized in-
line rotary transducer, such as IRTT, are suitable instruments for checking the
torque, (see fig. and our main catalogue).
