Additional information for electric tools
Warning!
The vibration emission value specified has been meas-
ured in accordance with a standardised test procedure
and may change depending on the type and manner in
which the electric tool is used and may be above the
specified value in exceptional cases.
The specified vibration emission value can be used to
compare one electric tool with other.
The specified vibration emission value can also be
used for an initial assessment of the impairment.
Keep the noise level and vibration to a minimum!
• Only use faultless devices.
• Maintain and clean the device at regular intervals.
• Adapt your working methods to the device.
• Do not overload the device.
• Have the device checked if necessary.
• Switch the device off if it is not in use.
• Wear gloves.
Residual risks
Even when this electric tool is operated properly,
residual risks still remain. The following hazards
may arise in connection with the design and con-
struction of this electric tool:
1. Lung damage if suitable dust protection mask is
not worn.
2. Hearing damage if suitable hearing protection is
not worn.
3. Damage to health resulting from hand/arm vibration
if the device is used over an extended period of time
or if it is not properly operated and maintained.

Before commissioning
Before connecting the machine, make certain that the da-
ta on the type plate matches with the mains power data.
Always pull out the mains plug before carrying out ad-
justments on the device.
• Familiarise yourself with your machine. Familiarize
yourself with its use and limitations, but also with
the specific potential hazards.
• Make sure that the switch is OFF before inserting
the plug into the socket.
• Make sure that the machine has been cleaned and
lubricated properly.
• Before commissioning, check the machine for dam-
aged parts and determine whether these parts
function properly and fulfil their intended function.
In cases of doubt, the part in question must be re-
placed.
• Check the alignment of all moving parts, any broken or
fastening parts, and any other conditions which may
impede proper operation. Any damaged part must be
repaired or replaced by a specialist immediately.
• Do not use the machine if a switch cannot be
switched on and off properly.
m Attention! Before the start of operation, check the
deployment location for hidden electrical lines, gas
pipes and water pipes using a cable detector.
8. Operation
• Only use faultless devices.
• Make all machine settings with the machine
switched off.
• Never leave the machine unattended when it is run-
ning.
• When shutting down, only leave the machine after it
has come to a complete standstill.
• Always switch the machine off before unplugging
the mains plug.
• Always unplug the mains plug. Never pull the plug
out of the socket using the cable.
• Maintain and clean the device at regular intervals.

Commissioning
Inserting the chisel Fig. 2
1. Always clean the chisel before inserting it and light-
ly grease the shaft.
2. Pull out the locking bolt (8) up to the stop, rotate it
180° and release.
3. Insert the chisel into the tool receiver (6) and push
it up to the stop.
4. Pull out the locking bolt (8) again, rotate it 180° and
release.
5. Check the locking mechanism on the tool.
Removing the chisel
Pull out the locking bolt (8) up to the stop, rotate it 180°
and release and remove the chisel.

For safety reasons, only use the demolition ham-
mer with the additional handle!
1. The additional handle (5) allows the user to main-
tain a firm hold when using the demolition hammer.
