Operating instructions
Theseoperating instructions have been made for the operators of the
single-disc-machine
R 43/ R 53-1100.
I. Please get acquainted with the components, safety instructions and
operation details, maintenance and recommandations mentioned in these
instructions.
2. This allows you to optimise the performance. usage, maintenance and
saftey of the machine and allows you to keep the machine at a perfect
level throughout it's life.
3. The manufacturer takes no responsability for damages caused to
property or persons due to improper use of the machine!
l. Safety rules
For your own safety
Before using the machine read the instructions thoroughly. The
operating instructions must always available for the operator.
IIIC single-disc machinemay only be operatedby personswho have
been fully trained and authorised to use it.
Warning!
The single-disc machine is not suitable for cleaning
surfaces. from which any type of dust or substances which are
flammable, poisonous, caustic, irritating are remove that represent a
health
hazard.
Never drive ovcr steps!
Caution!
Never drive over power cables! Danger of electric shock!
I. Your machineis fitted with a mouldedmainsleadplug andin the
event this needs replacing proceed as follows:
a)
The wires in the mains lead are coloured
following code: green & yellow ; earth; blue; neutral; brown;
live.
b) As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance
may not correspond wilh the terminals in your plug, proceed as
follows: ne
wire which is coloured green & yellow must be
connected to the terminal in the plug which is marked with the
letter E or by the earth symbol, or coloured green or green &
yellow. "Ihe wire which is coloured blue must be cnnected to the
terminal
which
is marked
with the letter N or coloured
wire which
is coloured
brown
which is marked with the letter L or coloured
Cables and Extension
Leads
Cleanfix machines are designed for use with the specified mains
cable diamctcr and length. To avoid voltage drop and potential
damage to the machine, extension Icads should nol be used unless
they arc of'a size capableor carryingthe powerrequired.They should
also be fully unwound before use.
General
Thc usage of the the single-disc machine is subjected to national
regulations.
After the operating instructions and the naLionales rules for safety in
the work place, we also recommend that the unwritten rules of safe
working hc respected. Using the single-disc machine on public roads,
paths and any other outdoor surface is prohibited.
Proper Operation
All single-disc machines are destined for wet cleaning of
waterproof surfaces inside of buildings.
All other usage is considered improper. The manufacturer takes

no responsablility for damages due to the improper use of the

will not bc responsible for any form of guarantee.
Product Liability
The operator Of the machineis strictly informed that the single-disc
machineis only to be usedaccording to the operating instructions.
Should thc machinenot beoperatedproperly, this happens at the own
risc and own liability of the operator. In such a case any form of
guarantee is refused by the manufactuer.
Sources of Danger
•
Do not run the brusheswhen the machineis stationaryasit may
causedamageto the surfacebeing cleaned.
•
Care should be taken when driving the machineover thresholds
or sills asdamagemayoccur to the brushes,wheelsandsqueegee
assembly. I t is advisable10lift the brushesandthe squeegee.
•
When transporting in elevators, their safety regulations and
precautions are to be respected as well as the maximum load
capacity Of thc elevator.
Place or Work
ne working place of the operator is behind the push bar Of the
machine.

Staff
The single-disc machine may only bc maintained by authorised
specialistswho have full training on the maintenanceof thc single-
disc
machine.
Cleaning Agents

Please always consult correct use and safety precautions as
detailedon the manufacturers label. If necessary wearappropriate
clothing and safety glasses.

Only uselow foamingan non-inflammablecleaningagentswhich
do not included hazardous components.
We emphasise the danger of using inflammable, poisonous,
hazardous and explosivc cleaning agents.
First Operation
•
On delivery of this machine full training will normally be
provided by representative of the manufacturer.
•
Where this is not the case,the owner is responsiblefor training
their
staff.
