2. Preparations
for Work / Operation
Please make sure that the voltage quoted on the machine's
type-plate corresponds with
machine's type plate.
Assembly instructions
The motor
head and shaft are supplied in separate
•
packaging.
First undo the four hexagon socket screws in the shaft
•
adjustment unit (17) as far as it will go.
Align the handle bar (l) parallel to the wheels (9) with the
open side of the uppershaft housing(3) facing the rear.
Then feed the shaft (7) gently into the shaft adjustment unit
(17) until it will go no further.
Position the handle (I) parallel to the wheels (9) with the
•
open side of the upper shaft housing (3) to the rear.
Then tighten the hexagon socket screws.
•
Pull the shaft aadjustment lever (5), insert the switch box
•
(4) into the open side of the housing (3) in parallel
alignment and release the shaft adjustment lever (5).
Tighten both the bolts (6) on the switch box (4).
Affix
the
short
electric
•
holders.
Coil the electric cable (18) around the handlebar (l) and
•
the cable hook (8).
Before
use
Grasp the handlebar (I) with both hands and tip the
machine back so it rests on its two wheels (9) (A).
Then run the machineto placeof work andattachthe pad.
To this end, slide the pad with ist central recess over the
•
yellow connector and fasten it with the yellow fastening
nur.
Make sure that the pad is properly centred and tighten the
•
nur firmly.
It mist not protrude beyond the pad surface.
Before starting the machine, set the front wheel (l l) to ist
maximum height, which is equal to the lowest pressing
force.
3. Assembly instructions
Attach the holding device for the spray can to the shaft (7)
with the holder at the top and, when viewed from the
operating position, on the left (G).
Mount the spray can in the holding device and pivot the
latter back until the ball stop engages.
4. Cleaners
Equip your machine with the following accessories for cleaner
spraying:
Spraymaster and the brown pad.
l. Fill the spray with the desired product.
2. Attach the pad to the drive plate.
3.
Then
start
the machine.
4. Pull the hand lever on the Spraymaster a few times 10spray
the cleaner product onto the floor. Start cleaner spraying
immediately, continuing until a gloss is produced.

Make sure that the swivelling action is unimpaired.
If the cleaning effect and gloss finish are unsatisfactory,
increase the pressing force slightly.
Only set the lowest possible pressure.
Always uncoil all of the mains cable (20 m).
In use
Press the drive plate motor switch (2) (right or left) to start
the motor.
If you raise the shaft (7) slightly, the machine moves to the
right (D).
If you lower the shaft, the machine moves to the left (D).
If you keep the shaft in ist central position, the machine
operates on the spot.
On rough floors, tip the machine (A) before starting the
motor and only then lower it onto the floor.
The machine is equipped with an overload indicator (14)
•
(for excessive pressing force).
This lamp should not or only briefly light up.
After
use:
Pull the shaft adjustement lever (5) and setz the shaft (7) in
ist vertical position.
Now pull the mains plug out of ist socket and coil the
electric cable (18) around the handlebar (l) and cable hook
(8).
To protect the retaining needles, leave the used pd screwed
onto the drive plate until the machine is used again. Only
then replace it with a new pad.
The ring is fitted with the same procedure but in reverse
•
order.
Make sure that the ring's two metal pins mate with the
•
recesses
in the wheel
mounts.
The ring now hangsloosely aroundlhe motor unit.
•
To fit it, its diameter can be enlarged by pulling between
the pins.
Then push the spring buckle over the shaft adjustment unit
•
(17).
You can attach the nozzle on the left or right as preferred
(H).
Then point the flexible tube in the desired direction.
We recommend cleaning lhe floor section by section.
5.
With the R 43/ R 53-1100 you can clean at a far greater speed
than with
slower
machines.
The machine is ideal for cleaning with polymer dispersions.
The coating's traffic resistance and hardwearing properties
remain unaffected. Smears can be removed easily.
