Measurement can be started; the test piece has been inserted correctly
The measurement cannot be started; the edge on the test piece is too long

Switch the test stand to either automatic or manual mode. In manual mode, first press
the OK key on the meter to start the measurement.
6.
Now move the slide back to carry out the measuring process. As soon as the set
release force is exceeded, the meter automatically switches to measuring mode.
Note: Check whether the jaws have actually gripped the test piece. If all settings are
correct and the measurement does not start, the release force of 10 N has not been
reached.
