How to make a peel test
Do the following to make a peel test:
1.
Follow the instructions on Preparation before use, chapter 4.2.
2.
Make sure that the slide with the force gauge is in the starting position (far right) and
that the clamping jaws are open.
3.
Prepare the sample by removing a strip of approx. 6 cm in length and bending it at a
90° angle if possible.
Note: Make sure that 5 cm at the beginning and end of the sample are not tested as
fluctuations in the adhesive force can occur here for reasons of production/preparation!
4.
Insert the sample into the tester as shown in the following picture. Make sure that the
detached strip is not too long or too short. Once the test piece has been inserted
correctly, the measuring process can begin.
