4. Parallel boundary wires (11) installed at a distance of at least 10 cm are identified as an obstacle by the
robot and are avoided (fig 2). If the boundary wires are installed at a distance of less than 5 mm, they are not
detected by the robot and it passes over them.
5.Avoid creating 90° corners. Instead, divide them into two 45° angles (fig 3).
6.The robot's sensors are designed to detect and avoid stationary and solid obstacles (walls, garden furniture,
etc.) larger than 100 mm. Protect sensitive obstacles (e.g. flower beds) on the lawn area with the boundary
wire (11).
7. The distance between 2 obstacles must be at least 1 m (fig. 2).
8. Make sure that the boundary wire (11) does not cross at any point. This may cause the robot to malfunction
or malfunction
Trees
The robot detects trees as a normal obstacle. However, protruding roots can damage the underside/slats (20).
We recommend using the boundary wire (11) to delimit the trees as well.
ROCKS
Remove small stones (less than 100 mm) from the lawn area. They can damage the robot and the blades (20).
The robot detects stones (higher than 100 mm) as normal obstacles. We recommend using the boundary wire
(11) to delineate the rocks as well.
Slopes/bumps
The robot can operate on slopes/bumps of up to max. 25° (47%). At a distance of 1 m from the boundary wire,
the slope must not exceed 5.7° (10 %). Make sure that a distance of at least 30 cm is maintained between the
boundary wire (11) and an obstacle on a slope at the top and at least 40 cm at the bottom.
Ponds/pools
Ponds and pools should be bordered by boundary wire (11) where possible or designed so that the robot
cannot enter the water. This can seriously damage its electronic components.
Driveways/roads
The robot can easily cross driveways and roads at ground level. If there are height differences between the
lawn area and the path/road, limit the path/road with a safety distance of approx. 40 cm.
Narrow passages
The narrow passages in the demarcated area of the lawn must be at least 1.2 m wide and no more than 8 m
long (fig. 4) The width of 1.2 m refers to the distance between the boundary wires. The robot exceeds the
boundary wire by 0.2m, on both sides, when mowing the lawn.
Connecting the charging station to the power adapter
1. Connect the power adapter (14) to the charging station (17) via the charging plug (16) and the charging
socket (25).
2. Screw the bushing (24) around the joint to protect it from moisture.
Connecting the boundary wire to the charging station
1. Remove the boundary wire insulation approx. 10-15 mm, at both ends (11).
2. Fold the cover (23) upwards.
3. Connect the end of the boundary wire (11), which goes to the front of the station and surrounds the lawn, to
the socket marked " -".
4.Put the other end of the boundary wire (11) through the groove under the charging station (17).
5. Connect this end of the wire to the socket marked +.
6. Connect the plug (15) to the power source.
7. Check the LED on the charging station. If the LED lights up green, the boundary wire (11) is correctly
connected to the charging station (17).
Fastening the charging station
Secure the charging station and bumper (18) with the fixing nails (12). The charging station bumper (18)
attaches to the side of the station , outside the restricted turf area. The operating range indicator (31) on the
charging station must be located in the restricted turf area.
Inserting/Replacing the Battery
Before replacing the battery, turn off the robot and wait for the blades to stop.
There is a risk of personal injury. There is a risk of injury from leaking battery fluid if the battery is damaged! In
case of contact with eyes or skin, flush affected areas with water or a neutralizing agent and seek medical
attention.
1. Turn the robot over.
2. Open the battery compartment by removing the 4 screws on the bottom of the robot.
3. If necessary, remove the discharged battery.
4. Insert the battery.
5. Close the battery compartment (32) again.
